This is a middle school science wiki. It is very well done and includes such things as You Tube videos of class experiments and demonstrations, slideshows, assignments, notes, handouts in pdf format, and science fair information.
I would use this wiki to show students various ideas for choosing science fair projects as well as use the excel link provided so students can learn to make graphs. There are also science fair links included which my students could use. I would like to add videos like this on my classroom wiki and also add the link to excel.

Eighth grade students created this wiki which is about the novel HOLES by Louis Sachar. They included such things as a quiz on the story, described the characters, provided a summary of the story, described Camp Green Lake, and used the discussion tab to collaborate with class members. They also included a cluster map on their wiki.
I thought this was interesting because my class also reads this novel. It would be interesting to use the discussion tab on my wiki to collaborate with my students. All students would need to participate, and it would be a new way for students to learn. Also the students could use this wiki if they were having difficulty understanding this novel.

This is a science wiki also. This wiki includes photos, embedded videos, science lessons and links, student class projects and activities, a link to copyright friendly images to add to projects, and Smart Board lessons( smartviewer).
I would use this wiki to find Smart Board lessons and science lessons. Also the copyright friendly images would be an asset to my wiki so students could have access to it at any time.
